The Medium Version:
Louise Lawrence is an author, essayist, and speaker, who specializes in behavioral pattern motivation recognition with 35 years of corporate experience, including a long tenure as a national trainer and process improvement leader at Honda. Her work helps individuals and organizations identify the relationship blind spots that create emotional noise, distort clear thinking, and stall progress. Her debut book, Fix It or Finish It!, brings her decision framework to one of the hardest choices people face. Louise delivers strategic insight with neutrality, warmth and precision (and a touch of tough love), leaving audiences with the clarity and tools to act. She's currently working on her second book about Change, and writes about the Whys of the human experience on Substack.
The Longer Version:
Louise Lawrence is an author, essayist, speaker, and specialist in behavioral pattern motivation recognition, whose expertise sits at the intersection of human behavior, decision-making, and change.
She spent 35 years in corporate North America, at Honda and Pitney Bowes. She served as a national trainer, process improvement leader, and national marketing manager at Pitney Bowes, and process improvement leader, district manager, and national trainer at Honda. Louise has worked across the organization and dealer body to help leaders, teams, and individuals cut through entrenched patterns, unspoken dynamics, and the relationship blind spots that undermine performance and progress. She has worked with diverse personalities, multiple roles, and high-stakes decisions at scale.
That career gave her a deep, field-tested understanding of how people actually behave under discomfort: not how they say (or think) they will, but how they actually do.
Louise is known for her ability to help people to understand what those realities actually mean, and decide what to do next... without the roadblocks of emotional bias and avoidance. She uses her knowledge of human behavior as a strategic tool, not a therapeutic one, delivering compelling message with an engaging and straightforward blend of warmth and "tough love."
In her first book Fix It or Finish It!, Louise helps individuals identify the relationship blind spots driving their personal decisions. Through sher writing and speaking, she motivates her readers and groups in decision-making under pressure, behavioral patterns, and the human factors that determine whether change efforts succeed or stall.
